Medical Funds for Ajay and Ritu

My name is Ansh Sharma and I am 15 years old. My dad, Ajay Sharma (45 yrs.), is a hardworking and caring father of two. About three years ago, he was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease (Stage 5), also known as Chronic Kidney Disease. In CKD, eventually, dialysis or a kidney transplant is needed to live. For the past 15 months, he has been undergoing 9 hrs of dialysis treatment every night. He was put on the UNOS Transplant list two years ago but the waiting list is around 5-6 years. Dialysis and work-related stress has affected his other organs and he needs a transplant ASAP. As the only viable option, my mom, Ritu Shukla, will now be the donor.

The surgery is scheduled for July 28th at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

They will both be on bed rest for 4-8 weeks with lost wages. We ask you to please donate and help a father continue his life. We need these donations for hospital bills, medications and post op care.
