Recently Daniel Tomalonis, who is only a young age of 38 faced his biggest challenge ever earlier this year when he was diagnosed with BOTH stage 3 colon cancer AND acute lymphocytic leukemia. He has just completed his first round of chemotherapy at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa and is now waiting for his doctors to determine the next course of treatment. He has a long bumpy road and many challenges ahead of him, but he is determined to win this battle.
Danny is a single dad, currently residing in Wesley Chapel, Florida, however he is formerly a Windsor Locks Native. Those that have had the pleasure of meeting Danny, know he has the heart of a Teddy Bear and is always willing to go above and beyond to offer a helping hand. He has an infectious smile and kindness about him that warms a room. If you have met Danny, I guarantee he is now someone you call your friend.
Our family and friends would like to show him just how many people care about him as he fights these insidious diseases, and have set this fund me page up in hopes to help defray his medical costs and financial burdens. We will also be holding a Pasta Dinner Benefit for Danny on December 27, 2014 from 4-9 at the VFW in Windsor Locks. There will be a DJ (An amazing friend...Dwayne Talor) and many great prizes to raffle off. Benefit Tickets are $20 adult and $10 for child 16 and under. They are available at the door, from myself, and any of my family members,. Please come and join us to support Danny. He will be honored and amazed at the love and support from his family and friends. Thank you again!
