Stop Deportation

My name is Andre van der Poel and I  reside in the United States. I have been here for 31 years. I have 2 boys living here 25 and 26 years old.  I am a retired electrician and I currently deliver newspapers to make ends meet.  Two years ago in June, I traveled back to Holland to attend the funeral of one of my brothers. Upon return to Los Angeles International Airport, I was detained by customs. Apparently, a misdemeanor criminal incident that happened 12 years ago was red flagged and I was held for over four hours. I had no idea that the turmoil to follow would be so life altering and horrendous for me. My passport and green card were confiscated on the spot and it took 5 weeks to get my suitcase back.  
I have been trying to correct my deportation for 2 years. I have been to court 2 times to find out the LA court was canceled. The third time, I finally was seen in front of a judge and given notice of how to proceed to stop my deportation. I have several forms to fill out and file along with getting a new passport and green card as well. I had no idea there would be fees so high. If I knew I would have needed $3000  I would have been saving it up these past 2 years. I need to have the forms filled out and filed by August 30, 2017, or my deportation process will begin. I have no money to hire a lawyer and feel like I'm caught between a rock and a hard place in a bad dream that I can't wake up from. I have downloaded and printed the forms with the help of my friends and now I need to get them filed but don't have the funds. I am absolutely desperate and am running out of time to try and stay in the United States.
It would mean the world to me to get help to stay close to my sons and friends. I have changed my life around and have been sober almost 7 years and have a wonderful support system.
