Global Fisheries Sustainability Fund

Hello! I am Angus Lawrentschuk and I am a year 9 student who attends Caulfield Grammar School. I am extremely passionate about sustainable ocean life and in particular fishing. There is a large problem that involves the pollution in our waterways damaging the ecosystem and the living things inside of it. For me to make a difference raising this money would be another step into taking action so future generations can experience the rich memories I have fishing myself. This fundraiser raises money for the Marine Stewardship Council that strive and advocate for a more sustainable ocean. Some of the few factors the council addresses are overfishing, pollution in bodies of water along with illegal and destructive fishing. Having the MSC logo on a product or seafood endorses the fact that it was caught sustainably and using legal practises. Please, join me in taking the first step in this global movement.
