Glenfrome Green Flag Fund
Donation protected
Hello from Glenfome Primary School. Last year we successfully renewed our green flag status, the highest award you can get as part of the Eco- schools imitative. This was thanks to our fantastic eco council and their brilliant work. In school we'll be wearing green on Monday the 18th to celebrate and donating 50p to fundraise for the cost of renewing our green flag status. We wanted everyone to be able to join in, so if you're not in school on Monday don't worry, you can join in by dressing in green at home and donating using this funding page.
At Glenfrome we love the natural environments around our school, it keeps us healthy and happy. But we know that we need to make choices to protect and look after what we love or we risk loosing it. So we've been thinking about how we recycle and reuse waste in the school, we've been auditing our energy use, we've been planting trees and creating wildlife habitats around school and having conversations with friends and family about how we can all help. By donating to our Green Flag fund you'll be helping us keep our subscription to the Eco Schools program and continuing this important work.
