Glanogwen Church Bethesda Appeal

This beautiful Grade 2-listed building in the heart of Snowdonia has served the local slate-valley community faithfully for nearly 200 years, and sincerely hopes to carry on doing so in the future. Now, a recent survey has shown that time and the weather have taken their toll and left the church in dire need of refurbishment. The first, essential, part of the work will cost around £300,000 and needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Although we do have some funds, raised by church members and the wider community, we need to raise at least half of that amount in order to attract available grants.

Our aim as a church is to strengthen the fellowship, spiritual support, and family resources which we offer– including continuing to support and uphold the Welsh language in the area. Our church building – refurbished – will be the right place to do this for Bethesda’s community, well into the future.
