Phil and Wendy Need Our Help!

Donation protected
Phil Frazier and his wife Wendy are the kind of people who will always do anything they can to help others.  The kind of people who show up to help you move without you asking, who will help you build that deck, who will help out someone they don't know on the side of the road.  That is what they tried to do on the night of October 28th, 2014.
On their way to the grocery store, they were driving eastbound on I-82 just outside Prosser, WA at approx.  9:19 pm, when they witnessed a bad car accident in the westbound lane.  They pulled over on the shoulder;  Phil told Wendy to call 911, and he was going to go over and see if he could help.  Because there were other cars coming behind him, Phil hurried across the road and hopped over the guard rail to cross the median and help the other drivers.  Wendy was busy calling 911.
An hour went by while Wendy waited for Phil to return.  Police and other emergency vehicles came and went from the accident scene, and still Phil had not returned to the vehicle.  Then a police cruiser pulled up behind Wendy and Phil's car, thinking it was an abandoned vehicle.  Wendy explained that she was waiting for her husband to return from helping out, and the officer told Wendy that everyone who had been at the scene had already left.   He asked Wendy to move her vehicle to the next rest area, and he would get search and rescue to help out.
Another hour went by with no sign of Phil.  Wendy called the officer's phone,  and learned that they had just located Phil.  When Phil had hopped over that guardrail, he hadn't been able to see that there was no median...just a 30 foot drop.  Phil fell 30', then rolled another 20' before coming to rest in a ditch.  He was found unconscious but breathing.
It was another hour before they were able to get him loaded into an ambulance and get him to the hospital.  One look at his injuries, and they had him on a Life Flight to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Phil's  multiple injuries include a shattered pelvis, a broken shoulder, a broken wrist, 6 broken ribs, both ankles were damaged and many other contusions and injuries.  While he is in a lot of pain, he and everyone else are just happy that he is alive.
The people that Phil was trying to help will probably never know what he tried to do for them, but we do.  This is the kind of guy he is.
Phil and Wendy don't have medical insurance.  The Life Flight alone cost $36,000.  They know no one in Seattle that Wendy and their daughter can stay with while Phil gets the surgeries he needs.  Expenses and medical bills are piling up.  Please help!
