Help a caregiver

I left my job as a Nurse Manager to care for my Mom when she was diagnosed with cancer. Her care took all of my time. My days consisted of taking her her to her chemotherapy treatment, radiation therapies, scans, xrays, blood tests and surgeries. My nights were spent helping her to the bathroom when she was sick, cleaning her when soiled, administering medications, helping her through night sweats and holding her while she cried.  I'm proud to say she is now in remission,  but she was still not well. She was having difficulty walking and speaking. Her gait was slow and she would get "stuck" while trying to walk. This lead to more tests and doctors appointments. Long story short, she was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Now she is taking 2 different medications and attends physical therapy twice a week along with exercises at home. I prepare her meals, drive her to therapies, doctors appointment, port flushes, blood work, etc. Now she is scheduled for a knee replacement on October 22, because she is in extreme pain from arthritis. I love my Mom and would not have done anything differently,  but unfortunately it has left me in a financial predicament.  I'm struggling to pay my bills. I tried to work per diem, but there are rarely any openings that do not conflict with appointments. My Mom had fallen several times and has suffered injuries from the falls on the days that I was at work. When I left my job, I also lost my health insurance and cannot afford commercial insurance.  I repair and refurbish discarded furniture to earn money, but it's not enough. I hate to admit it, but I really need help.
