Miracle for Maddie

On April 9, 2018 Kristine and Todd Ricci made a public appeal for help in obtaining a Living Liver Donor for their 18 year old daughter, Maddie, who requires a liver transplant following years of illness. The response was overwhelming with wonderful, selfless, compassionate people offering to help Maddie and her family in every way possible.
The expenses for long-term illness are astronomical at best, but those associated with transplant surgery can be catastrophic even with insurance. Although it is only April, Maddie has already surpassed the maximum of her prescription benefit for the year, therefore Kris and Todd have been paying out of pocket. In addition to direct and continuing medical expenses, Maddie's recovery will require her parents to take time off from work despite the mounting bills. The Angel who donates the liver will be required to miss work for surgery and recovery as well.
After reading Maddie's story, so many incredible people indicated that they were unable to be tested as a liver match, but offered to donate funds to assist the Ricci's with Maddie's care. We have now established this GoFundMe to allow donations to be made to help the Ricci's through this devastating time.
