GIVING SQUARED
For every $50 dollars raised...
1 desk goes to a school/program in need in the US &
1 new desk is purchased for a school in Tanzania WEC was gifted 86 "like new" desk/chair combinations by the kind people at University Of Northwestern in Roseville, Minnesota. See the journey of getting the desks below.
YOUR DONATION
Your donation will not only go to the giving and purchase of desks in both the US and Tanzania, but will also go to expenses incurred in the execution of our big day, World Education Day Of Connection. In addition, they will also cover the costs of wireless routers and bandwith at schools in our program in Tanzania to help facilitate the connections with schools in the US. As our program has begun gaining traction, obtaining our non-profit 501(c)3 status and International NGO status is important. The dollars raised will also go to support the costs of achieving the status of both, so we are in turn able to make a bigger difference in schools around the globe as we look to expand our second year.
WHO IS WORLD EDUCATION CONNECTION?
World Education Connection is an educational year long program that connects students around the world, creating global teams who collaborate, compete and celebrate together. We feel strongly about understanding the true power of connection, by having our global teams work together on three projects that bring cultural awareness, teach entrepeneurship thru shared fundraising and micro-finance, and celebrate these connections all together on World Education Day Of Connection May 10, 2017.

SPREADING THE POWER OF CONNECTION is our goal. There is power that comes from understanding how to connect through empathy and compassion. Giving students the tools needed to work alongside our global neighbors to tackle world issues is our mission.
With your gracious help, we can continue to do so.
