GivingHOPE on GivingTUESDAY w EMIR Healing Center

On November 28th E.M.I.R. Healing Center is participating in GivngHOPE on GivingTUESDAY, A Global Day of Generosity.

As one of Philadelphia's premier 501c3 non-profits, all funds raised for E.M.I.R.- Every Murder Is Real Healing Center will continue to make an impact by providing trauma-informed healing through advocacy, education, and our community; One Family at a Time!

From the funds raised, families impacted by homicide and violent crimes will be helped with learning to rebuild a “new normal” after the loss of their loved one.

E.M.I.R. provides families with programs such as:

* An annual Youth Summit- for males ages 10yrs old to 18yrs old, the summit promotes an atmosphere where participants can explore wellness activities, self-care, self-esteem, emotional maturity, and problem-solving skills around positive outcomes. This can assist in enabling them to become better brothers, sisters, daughters, friends, and leaders. They will become Peace Ambassadors spreading their positive ideas throughout their communities.

* “Walking with the Goats” is an animal-assisted therapy experience that allows EMIR's families an urban farm event. All of E.M.I.R.’s educational and community engagement experiences are 100% Free to the families served.
