Giving my son stability

On May 17th, my son's mother left the state, choosing to abandon her son. Now he's with me full time, and I need to make it official with the court. I've hired an attorney, and the cost will be upwards of $3000.00. I'm not asking everyone donate a massive amount at once. A dollar here and there will add up. My son Mason means the world to me. Seeing him sad breaks my heart. I'm in no way trying to keep him from his mother. I simply want to have his heart, and right's protected. Please share this with anyone you think might help.
