Giving Gena Back Her Wings

As many of you know, Gena was involved in a motorcycle accident Friday, August 18th. A car missed a stop sign right in front of her at about midnight and she couldn't stop in time.
Thankfully, she has no head or spine injuries but she did suffer a perforated bladder, a fractured pelvis and sacrum, two shattered wrists, broken forearms and one broken elbow. She also suffered a knee injury of which the extent of it has not been fully determined.
Gena has had two lengthy surgeries so far with perhaps another in the future (for the knee). With most of her surgeries behind her, she has now started her long road to recovery. And anyone who knows Gena knows she will throw herself into her recovery with her entire being. Not only will she fully recover, she will continue to motivate everyone she touches to move their bodies every day...any way they can.
The involvement of both of Gena's arms means she will require a lot of care over the next few months. Michael's disability insurance does not extend to Gena and the recent contract work she has been doing also will not cover her lost wages or the extra care she will require.
We know there are many people that are asking how they can help Gena and Michael at this time and so this page was born. Any amount at all that you can donate will help Gena get the care and help she will need in the first few months as well as the extra therapy and rehabilitation she will require for a full recovery.
