Cristina Galindo's Medical Fund

Donation protected
This fund raising is for Cristina Galindo, 45 years old. She lives in Pasig City, Philippines. On December 1, 2017, she was rushed to the hospital by her workmates because of an intracerebral hemorrhage. She collapsed at work during noon.   Intracerebral hemorrhage is when a blood vessel swells and bleeds and so affecting the part of her brain responsible for breathing and heart rate. During that time, the ambulance is headed to Ospital ng Makati (Hospital of Makati), but they had seen St. Luke’s Hospital, so there she was admitted. It’s a private and expensive hospital but it left Cristina’s workmates with no choice to admit her there because Cristina’s time is running out. At that time, the surgery was the emergent thing to do to save her life and it does not matter if it’s an expensive hospital. As long as she will survive, that’s the important thing. It was a life-threatening condition at that time that she underwent immediate surgery to remove the pressure on her brain. She was admitted to the hospital unconscious and her one foot on the grave.  The surgery with all the other medical services after surgery (CT scan, blood tests, medical supplies) are all accounted for as of now. Every day, the bill is rising to an average Php100,000 and the hospital is now charging for 75% of the bill so as to continue with all the health services. It’s either her meds will not be supplied by the hospital and her family has to buy medicine from outside the hospital, or she will be transferred to another hospital. Transferring her would be risky because of her condition since she’s still in the ICU. This fund raising will help with all her medical expenses such as medications, services, care and her way to recovery. The hospital’s running bill is currently on Php 913, 000+ or $23,000+.  It is estimated that if she is going to stay for a duration of 5-10 days, the bill will go up to Php1.5 million.  We really love our Aunt Tina or Tita Tina and always pray that she gets well really soon. So here we are,  humbly asking for any help during these trying times. As we all know, the Philippine healthcare is difficult, everything is expensive and you have to dig every centavo in order to pay everything and keep your sick loved one alive. Your donation can come a long way.  Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
