Linely is 4 years old. She was born with a rare type of muscular dystrophy that doesn’t allow her to move or develop as a normal child of her age. When she was born, she couldn't breathe well, move, eat or even cry, because of the weakness of her skeletal muscles.
Since day one, Linely is fighting for her life and for getting a chance to live as normal as possible. She is the only daughter of a young couple from the Dominican Republic. Her mother Nelly, had to leave her job and career to take care of her daughter, and to give her the best care possible. Her father, Luis, a hard working young man, was left alone with the job of providing for his family in very hard conditions.
Linely, with the help of God and her family, has overcome many challenges in her life. She started to breathe normal, when no one thought she could. She also, put her head up, when none of the doctors gave her a possibility of doing so. She is now, even able to sit up.
Linely is now facing yet another challenge. Due to her great effort, her spine has suffered severe deformation that is causing her serious medical problems. Doctors in Santo Domingo say that the treatment she requires is not available there.
A hospital in Miami has agreed to admit her. However, they require upfront payment of $5,000 dollars for Orthotics procedure, if they determine that she will need a back surgery and that she is able to resist the operation, then she will require a payment of about $50, 000 dollars.
There is not much time left for Linely. Please help this family to give Linely one more chance to continue her life. They are in desperation and will appreciate any donation.

Su padre, Luis, un joven trabajador, que se quedó solo con la responsabilidad de proveer todo lo que necesita su familia en condiciones muy duras.
