I met Tiffany while working at her chiropractic office. She immediately stuck me as an ambitious young women that works hard to make a better life for herself and her family.

Over the months, her health began to decline.  October of 2017 was the start of it all. She had such severe back pain that she couldn't walk. She was told by doctors that it may be a herniated disk. She began spinal decompression therapy which costs over $3000.00 not covered by insurance.

She then began experiencing a sharp left side pain. Her diaphragm had dropped causing her to be so out of breath that she could not function normally.  It began to be difficult to be the mom she wanted to be to her daughter, Krystal. She was dry heaving and couldn't keep food down. She went to the hospital again and found out that her celiac artery (that has nothing to do with being allergic to gluten) was 88% compressed. The local hospital recommended she go to U of M for further help. She sent all of her health records to U of M and set an appointment for the next Friday. Unfortunately, on Tuesday, her pain was so great that she couldn't walk at work and she had to be picked up and taken U of M early.

Tiffany spent 3 days in the hospital while U of M confirmed the celiac artery compression but referred her to a Vascular and GI specialists. She had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy and nothing turned up. She lost 12 lbs and this girl was already skinny!

She began researching MALS which is what causes the compression of the celiac artery. She found that if she has a nerve block and it fixes her pain then that is a confirmation that this is her problem. She had her first nerve block on April 5th. The good news is the nerve block worked! She has to continue to receive them until she gets surgery to correct the issue. Tiffany is working with the University of Chicago to set her surgery date. It is the most knowledgeable hospital on correcting MALS. Her surgery will be sometime within the next 3 months.

I would love to bless this lady because she is a fighter and has been through so much. Her bills so far are over $8000.00 and she still has more to go. Tiffany just recently purchased a home and will need at least 3 unpaid weeks off of work ( she already missed so much work trying to get diagnosed).  Tiffany is also working on getting her bachelors degree. She would never ask for a handout but I would love to give her a blessing to make her life easier during this stressful time. Please join me in donating so that we can give joy and hope to a very deserving person!
