Give the gift that gives back

To our friends, family, and colleagues, we are very fortunate to have a roof over our heads and food on our dinner tables. Sadly, this is not the case for many families in our very own communities. Homelessness in the Bay Area continues to rise, more so this year due to displacement from the North Bay fires. We have decided to start a fundraiser to give back this holiday season to those in need. Dolores Street Community Services - Housing & Shelter program is hosting their annual holiday party for the extremely low-income population who live in the SROs of the Mission District. Many of these tenants are immigrants, many are disabled, many are seniors, and believe it or not, many are families with small children all residing in one small room without a bathroom, kitchen, or shower of their own. Our goal is to raise $1500 within the next 10 days (12/8 last day) and we hope that you can help us reach it. Your monetary contribution will go towards buying gifts such as coats, toys, grocery gift cards etc. Give from the heart this season and spread holiday cheer. These gifts might be the only present these individuals receive this year.  We are grateful for your support and from the bottom of our hearts, Thank you.
