Give the gift of time to Janek and his boys

Karen Chorazyczewska / Sturla was a devoted mother and wife. From this earth she was taken far too early. At the age of 36 she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic bowel cancer. Karen fought every day for every minute of her life she had left. She dedicated her time and love to raising her beautiful boys.

The difficulties of raising 2 small, highly active boys are by far one of life's greatest challenges, let alone doing it while being so incredibly unwell every day. Karen had the drive, determination and love to care for her boys right up until she went into hospital, only a few days before she passed, so Janek could continue to work and provide financially for his wife and boys.

The loss of Karen has left a void in the hearts and lives of so many people, but none more than her husband Janek. He is now faced with the challenge of raising 2 boys on his own, with out the support of this superwoman and financially providing for them, whilst also grieving for his soulmate and love of his life.

Covid's border closures has created huge difficulties for Janek. He is physically disconnected from some of his biggest support networks. The pain, stress and loss Janek is facing simply cannot be articulated into one small paragraph.

Whilst flowers are thoughtful, beautiful and greatly appreciated, Karen would have given anything to spend just one more day on this earth with the 3 main men in her life.

Donations of money instead of flowers will buy Janek more time to spend with his boys before having to go back to work, something Karen would have given every last dollar she had. To spend just one more minute with them all. Time that her precious men need together to grieve and share love without the stress of work or finances added to their already extremely difficult times.
