Give Steve his life back

Steve got really sick really fast. He needed to be transported to Houston  from Dallas to possibly get on a waiting list for a new liver. His kidneys are shutting down  and he will not be able to wait for months for a new liver.  Houston  does not have  as long a waiting list and  works with sicker individuals. They  listed us!!!!  We live in Grapevine Texas which is four and a half to 5 hours. It has  been 8 days on the liver list. There is no way to know when they will get a liver. It could be any day,  it could be several months .He has now  spent a total of 20 days in the hospital , 10 intubated in ICU  in Houston.   Financially this is horribly draining. Once he gets his liver we can't go home  anywhere from 60 to 90 days due to possible rejection issues and or complications from such a major surgery. He will also be on alot of expensive medication. We are not financially sound and this is going to be a huge burden on us. Many friends have asked  how they could help. My sister told me about this website.  It would sure help us financially to have a little extra boost. We have a  beautiful home in Grapevine with a wonderful church family and great friends. I don't want to lose any of that. Especially  my Steve!!!
