I found this little guy in my neighborhood outside in the cold and bleeding heavily from his mouth. After taking him to the emergency vet and having his injuries assessed, the vet suspected that he may have been hit by a car. Fortunately, the amazing emergency vet technicians were able to stabilize him. Unfortunately, he does not have a chip, and we have no idea if he has an owner. Because he took such a vicious hit but still held strong, I named him Rocky Balboa (he's also an incredibly sweet boy who enjoyed being petted). Despite his strength and will to live, Rocky still has a long road to recovery, including surgery to repair his jaw and potentially lengthy after care. As of now, the estimate I received is between $5,000 and $10,000, which is beyond what I am capable to provide alone. Additionally, this is not how I anticipated ending 2025. However, I fully intend to start off the new year by giving Rocky a fighting chance. Please consider donating to help Rocky recover. No matter how small, every donation will help tremendously.
