My kind and generous friends, I am currently studying in Spain trying to pursue my BA (Hons) in Business Management (Marketing) awarding body University of Derby at the EU Business School. I am excited to work in an industry that requires a lot of creativity.
Originally, my family was able to contribute the full cost of my studies, but in the wake of COVID-19 and the ongoing global economic recession, my parents simply cannot afford to put me through school as originally planned
I have lived my whole life in Egypt, but decided to take my dream abroad in the hopes of gaining a more global understanding, as well as living in a place where I feel at ease with myself and my choices.
Staying and studying in Spain is quite important to me. I have learned Spanish and I am speaking it fluently now. Most importantly, Barcelona is a safe haven for me where I can truly be myself, due to the continuous crackdown on minorities in Egypt.
Continuing my studies in Spain will give me the opportunity for a free, safe and have a better future.
I have already collected more than half of what I need because of your donations and support!

WHY ASKING FOR SUPPORT MATTERS?
I am creating this GoFundMe to help make my future vision a reality. I am conscious that we as humans, and especially the most marginalized, have been conditioned not to seek help. There is this negative stain on asking for financial support and I have definitely carried that with me; however, my commitment to realising my goal of supporting my broader community means setting aside my fear and inner critic to ask for help from friends, community members, and generous humans like yourself.
This page is dedicated to raising funds for my full 3 year bachelor degree.
Your contribution to this GoFundMe campaign will help me continue to do that. The money gathered will go towards my tuition and help me receive the Bachelor's degree I have longed for.
