Give Erica Hansen a break!

If you know Erica, you know. 

You don’t need to be told what joy she brings to our lives or how hard she works raising her daughter. Nor do you need a list of the challenges she has overcome personally, physically, or financially – always with her patently cheerful optimism and that high-wattage smile.

 

It seems the Universe isn’t done with her yet. It's been a real-life version of Squid Games. 

Erica unbelievably enters the battlefield of her next challenge, Breast Cancer. She started chemotherapy, just in time for her latest feat:  an emergency appendectomy, one week after her first chemo treatment!

(I guess those stomach pains weren't just side effects, eh? You're keeping those doctors on their toes!)

 

We love Erica.

As she faces gut-wrenching expenses (on a newly opened gut, no less) and the kind of co-pays that strap a single mom’s income—especially while she is still trying to catch up after Jeramy’s tragic and sudden passing—her friends and I ask you to kick in a little to give her some breathing room during this trying time which has not yet decided to let up.
