Igniting Hope, One Child at a Time

I am organising a 5k run to raise funds for the children that my charity GREEN PASTURES KIDDIES supports in Nigeria.

We work with underprivileged children in slum communities in Lagos, Nigeria, and we are dedicated to bringing joy and warmth to disadvantaged children and their families through compassionate, sustainable, comprehensive, and integrated programmes, designed to permanently break the cycles of illiteracy, abuse, poverty, sickness, and homelessness. We believe that the desired change in the lives of such children will come only when more and more privileged people start participating proactively in finding a solution.

Imagine 100 children, trapped in the shadows of Lagos's slums, dreaming of a life beyond the grimy walls. GPK is their beacon of hope.

We're raising funds for a 3-day NurtureOne Boot Camp, a transformative journey where these children, aged 10-16, will:

• Unleash their curiosity: Through interactive workshops and hands-on activities, they will discover hidden talents and explore uncharted possibilities.

• Nurture their potential: We will ignite their passion for learning, equip them with valuable skills, and build their confidence to soar.

• Show them a world beyond: We will take them on field trips and cultural experiences, opening their eyes to a future brimming with opportunities.

• Empower their families: We will equip parents with the tools and resources to support their children's dreams every step of the way.

• Provide nutritious meals and comfortable accommodation.
