Give a Library to Mirror of Hope in Kibera Slum

Hi everyone,

Most of you have heard me talking, seen posts and photos I have shared on Facebook, Instagram,… about Mirror of Hope.

Mirror of Hope is a community-based organization focusing on offering care & support to vulnerable women & children in the Kibera slum in Nairobi, Kenya.

Through their sponsorship program, I have been fortunate to help Cyril through school but also more fortunate to go there in January 2020 and spend time with the Mirror of Hope community, meet my sponsor kid and his family but also see the need for education and resources in the Kibera Slum.

One thing I found was missing is a Library where our students could sit down, do researches on computers, on teacher in a box, on books,… in a safe environment.

So I decided to fundraise with your help to offer Mirror of Hope a container that will be transformed in a Library.

The cost of a fully prepared container is AU$7,000.00. I have a generous donor that will match, dollar for dollar, every donation made on this go fund me (up to $3,500.00) so our goal is to reach AU$3,500.00 at minimum.

With your help, we can make a difference and as the amazing Nelson Mandela said: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”

For every donation, please send me a photo of yourself as I will create a logo that will be put in the container to remember that together we can do it.
