Support young women as they fight breast cancer.
Aurora is a charitable project bringing young women with breast cancer together to provide emotional and practical support. As young women who have shown breast cancer their fight face, we know a small donation will make the BIGGEST difference.
Just imagine, one minute you’re rushing around juggling family, work, home and friends, the next BOOM you’ve got breast cancer.
Anyone would be shocked, scared and in need of support but as a young women you can also feel very alone. The support of your friends and family is vital but as you face unique challenges - fertility, raising small children, a career break and the early menopause - no one really knows what you are going through apart from other young women who are fighting or have fought breast cancer.
With your help, Aurora will provide regular group sessions where young women talk through how cancer is affecting every part of their lives plus complementary therapies, nutritional advice and some much needed pampering (no one should underestimate the benefit of learning how to draw on your fast disappearing eyebrows). But most importantly, Aurora will provide young women with an instant group of friends who truly know.
Girls fight best in packs. Fact.
At the moment we are ideas rich and cash poor. Please help.
£2 means we can reach out to 10 young women who have just been diagnosed with breast cancer so they know they are not alone.
£10 means 3 of those young women can attend their first group session at one of our regular pop-up wellness centres.
