Girls Soccer National Youth Championships

Hi, my name is Lilliana. I am 14 years old, and I love soccer!

I've got this awesome chance to represent Queensland within the Football Northern Territory team at the Girls National Youth Championships. My parents are proud of my commitment to soccer and everything it teaches me, like teamwork and never giving up, especially since I'm a proud, autistic young teenager.

My soccer journey takes up a lot of my time as I live regionally, so finding a professional soccer team to train with has its challenges, but my family are amazing as they drive me four hours to Mackay and back, 4-5 times a week after school, so that I can train and play with the best and continue to develop my craft. They're dedicated to helping me follow my soccer dreams, which shows my determination.

Now, here's the thing – going to the National Youth Championships tournament has large costs associated with it. There are travel costs, fees, accommodation and insurance and it's even trickier for us because we live in North Qld - the competition is in Wollongong, NSW. So, I'm hoping someone out there might want to provide a donation.

Your donation would mean the world to me. It would give me a shot at the Girls National Youth Championships and inspire me to keep pushing my limits, as my goal one day is to play for Australia in the Matildas Team.
