We are so excited to be opening a ministry at 329 Cates St. Girls of Grace wasn’t something we had been planning for months... It’s something the Lord just placed on our hearts so we immediately took action. We have been given an amazing opportunity, so we will operate a business that will begin to support the ministry. As with any new business, that will take time to get going. For this reason, we are asking the community to help us get started. Along with obvious financial needs, we need volunteers to help paint, do pressure washing, help with flooring, etc.
The sooner we can raise the funds and complete all projects, the sooner we can begin meeting for discipleship and the closer we will be to allowing the space to fund itself.
We have a passion for the gospel and for small, intimate discipleship. We want to create a space for girls to grow in their faith and eventually become leaders themselves. We hope to share the true gospel with them, encourage them to read their Bible and talk through what the Lord reveals about himself in His word. We hope to teach them what healthy verses unhealthy relationships look like in dating. We also know Tennessee is one of the top in the nation for drug abuse. So we hope to provide a space for fun and fellowship that removes them from the pressures that come along with being a teen.
We love Jesus. And we love Maryville. We know the brokenness that comes from falling away from church as a teenager, and not having Godly community. We want to always encourage and uplift each other. Thank you for supporting us in that.
Romans 1:12 that is, that you and I would be encouraged by each other’s faith.
