Girlguiding Denmark International trip 2023

Hi, my name is Bella. I am currently involved with Girlguiding as a ranger and doing my young leader qualification. Back in April 2022, I camped over at Elton campsite for the Intex Selection weekend, from which I was chosen to take part in the trip to Denmark in 2023! I need to fundraise £1500 to cover the cost of the journey and uniform. Part of the experience of going on an international Girlguiding camp is the fundraising of money because it builds creativity, organisation, independence and teamwork skills and many others.

To fundraise the money, I will be open water swimming every month throughout the year, which I have never done before. In Summer of 2021, I started lake swimming with my mum, and we swam until October before it got to cold. This spring, we went back into the water and I have decided to challenge myself to cold water swim even throughout the winter months. Did you know that cold water swimming is an extreme sport! So this will be a real challenge for me to complete, so it would really help if you could really help if you could show your support with a donation towards my fundraising. Thank you so much!
