Gino Maggiore Memorial

Gino Maggiore, beloved husband of Khadijih and devoted father of Rumi and Olive died on Thursday, Sept 20th. He had been attending a destination wedding of a dear childhood friend in Ireland. The last five days of his earthly life were spent surrounded by long-time, loving friends.  As much as we understand at this time, Gino had been dealing with some anxiety and sadness and had just started, that week, taking a strong anti-anxiety medication.  We know that sometimes the combination of a new medicine of this nature and celebratory drinking can lead to suicidal ideation. This is apparently what happened to this sweet man. We know in our hearts and are sure his friends know too, that Gino would never knowingly and in full capacity, do anything to harm or hurt all of us, including himself.


Gino lived a full life and loved others with all his heart.  This has been confirmed as we have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, grief, prayers, and support from all corners of the world.  He was a loving husband, a devoted father, a true friend, a kind man, and a loving brother and son. It touches our heart with joy to hear from so many who knew, loved and shared powerful bonds with this precious soul.  


The coming weeks and months will be difficult for everyone,  especially his wife Khadijih and his little girls.
