Gina and Jules' House Fire

Gina and Julia are staples in the nightlife community, and they've been hit with a world of distress. In an unfortunate series of events, a fire worked its way through their apartment building and the aftermath is devastating their lives. Aside from cleaning the salvaged smoke-damaged clothing and personal belongings, the list of next-step things is endless; they will need to replace all of their toiletries, food, and other amenities, and that is the low end of problems that can and will come to light. 

Take it from me: Every single day presents a new struggle when you go through a house fire. Your professional life often is married to your personal life, and when those are both compromised, even pride can't hide the fact that you're going to be in need of some help from those who care about you. And I can personally say that they don't see some of the upcoming expenses that are about to come their way.

On top of the obvious, the stress of being displaced with animals in their care adds up. Self-care goes out the window in such moments of turmoil, and we love them too much for them to go into autumn and winter with unheard-of stress loaded on their shoulders.

$4000 is the goal. It sounds like a lot, but just one visit to the hospital to make sure there was no smoke inhalation damage can be upwards of $600 alone.

Any small amount that you can offer will hopefully put them at ease while they take the next steps towards rising from the ashes.
