Gillentine Family Assistance Fund

As many know, Harvey is wrecking havoc on Texas towns. Among the thousands being displaced by the storm, my friend Kristy Gillentine and her family have lost everything. This afternoon she asked if my offer to help organize assistance for interim support was still valid.  I accepted.

Imagine that.  No food, clothing, nowhere to sleep, all of your mementos gone.  Now multiply that three times.  This is what Kristy and her family are facing.  They have lost three houses and everything inside them.   Part of the family is stranded in Santa Fe.  As this continues to worsen, I have decided to try to raise funds for Kristy and her family so they can take care of basic needs as they work with the emergency management officials.  They have insurance but that will take time to process.



Funds from this campaign will go directly to Kristy to take care of dry lodging, food, some clothes, gasoline, etc.  This way they can take care of business while everything else gets sorted out. Kristy Gillentine is the only person who can withdraw funds.

Kristy is a good soul.  Working with social media personalities spanning the globe, she has done social good projects that have had an impact on the lives of others.  Now it's our turn to step up to the plate and help her and her family out.  You can find Kristy on social media at @krisgillentine on Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat.

I am a friend of Kristy Gillentine. While I'm based in California, Kristy keeps me informed of her situation. Even though we are miles apart, we attend the same social media events.
