Gill House Charity Walk Fundraiser

On Friday 22nd March, SPS students & staff will be rowing, running or walking over 5 miles from Hammersmith to Putney and back in order to raise money for their local House charity. In the previous two iterations of this walk we raised money for international and national charities, (Beyond Ourselves & Women's Aid respectively). This year, Gill House will be raising money for Barnes Common.

Barnes Common is a charitable organization dedicated to the preservation, maintenance, and enhancement of Barnes Common, a vital green space in southwest London. Established with the goal of protecting the ecological and recreational value of the common, the charity works tirelessly to ensure its sustainability for future generations.

The Barnes Common Trust engages in various activities aimed at conserving the natural habitat, promoting biodiversity, and safeguarding the heritage of the common.
