Debi Traina Airth medical fund

Debi Airth my mom was recently hospitalized with severe abdominal pain. After several tests and observations, she was provided information indicating that she has a mass that needs to be identified and removed.  Debi has medical insurance that has so far stonewalled all of her treatment and delayed action with the exception of finally approving the surgeon who insists she need a scan that the insurance company simply will not approve due to it being a new FDA approved test (and excellent at detecting what she appears to have...a Carcinoid Tumor).   Having experience with issues of “new” and “still in research” insurance denials, it is quite apparent that the insurance company simply won’t come through in this case.  Additionally, as the new year approaches, it brings with it a pricey new and high deductible to immediately meet.  And because all of this started around Thanksgiving, looking at other insurance options/supplements is too late.  At this time the dr is moving forward with surgery he said it has to come out and he doesn’t want any more delays.
She now is facing a sudden large expense that she did not anticipate nor is prepared for.  The doctor has advised that not having surgery is not an option. She definitely needs surgery or further complications will start to further affect her life and she is surgery is January 30, I know our Gigi/Mom/Debi has many friends praying for her and wanting to help. Every prayer helps and any montetary donation will help allow Debi to get the treatment that she needs.  I hope we will all surround her with love and support as she heads down this road to eventual health as I know she is worried and scared. I am hopeful that we can lessen the financial burden and worry so that she can focus on getting through surgery and on the road to recovery. She will get through this with all of us!
