Gibraltar Leadership Academy Launch

By the grace of Allah SWT, we are pleased to announce the opening of Gibraltar Leadership Academy for the 2017-2018 school year. The closure of a prominent Islamic High school in the GTA left a void not only for our community, but also for our own students. In light of this, we have taken it upon ourselves to create a space that fosters independence, produces leaders and innovators , provides mentorship, and pushes students to think outside the box.

The educational model needs to change and adapt to the needs of the students in order to prepare them to face the demands of the 21st century. The bar has to be set higher and Gibraltar Leadership Academy aims to do just that. We need our schools to prepare students for the challenges of tomorrow; we need to impart skills just as much as knowledge. A key part of our program is co-op, where students can leave the classroom and gain practical workplace experience.
 

In order to achieve our goals, we need the support of generous members of our community such as yourself. 

All donations will be used towards the following resources:
- Class set of laptop or chromebooks
- Science Lab materials
- Robotics and coding tools
- Personalized learning platforms and software
- Hands on learning opportunities off site
- Classroom furnishings
