The Cox Family

Donation protected
For the past five years Chuck Cox has had many on-going health issues. He goes to dialysis three days a week. Last year on December 28, 2013 Chuck Cox was life-flighted from Canton up to Cleveland Clinic. They believed his aorta was torn. He was sedated and remained in ICU. He had surgery shortly after. Two days later he was up sitting in a chair to drain the chest tubes. By January 13, his chest tubes were finally draining less fluid and the doctors were hoping to take it out. Chuck was able to come home the next day. In March and April, Chuck was readmitted into the hospital again for more health issues but was able to return home.

October 28, Chuck had been complaining that his body was sore. Every time he would blow his nose or urinate there was blood. He went to the hospital and they told him that his valve was very thin, gave him some fluids, and then sent him home. When he went to dialysis today on October 29, they told him to go to the ER immediately. They ran multiple test and it came back that his right kidney was inflamed. They were also going to be giving him plasma to help with his valve. By 10pm, his wife Jenn had received some horrible news. When they moved him to a regular floor they had to call the rapid response team because he started to get confused and he couldn't move the right side of his body. His blood pressure shot up to between 220-230. They did a ct-scan of his brain and found that his left side was bleeding. They gave him plasma, and vitamin K to get it to come down. He is sedated and is on a breathing tube. They don't know what damage has been done already from the bleeding but it will not be able to be reversed.

Jenn and Chuck have five young children and it is hard to raise a family on one income. Please consider donating to help this family. All prayers are also appreciated!
