I can honestly say that I have donated many times to causes that have ran across facebook from go fund me. Friends, Co-workers, people that I don't even know. But as I sit here, fighting tears, I am here for MY family, MY nephew. His name is Logan. He is 4 years old. He has Burkitts Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. In other words, he has cancer. His cancer is rare.I'm
not going to even begin to try to explain it, because I don't get it. I just know that he has to have extensive chemotherapy. He has to have ALOT of it. It started in his lymph node in his neck, it was a normal day. No symptoms. They removed it. It was the size of an egg. It was cancer. Logan has a couple spots in the lymph nodes on the other side of his neck, and in front of his heart. My little brother Mike and my sister in-law Kara live an hr. away from the hospital where Logan is receiving his treatments. They will be making many trips. I am hoping to help defrey the costs of medical expenses, living expenses, and whatever they need. Logan also has a little brother Luke, and a big sister Hunter. We love Logan so much, and we know that there are going to be so many unforseen expenses in the future. We are calling this "Logan's Journey" my niece Alisha came up with that. Because we know that is what this is..."A Journey" and Logan will win! We just want to help as much as we can, as I know everyone else does. Please give as you can, and if not, say a prayer, and share this story, on Facebook, so maybe someone else can. Both Mom and Dad are with Logan night and day, which is a huge comfort to Logan.
