Pay off Bills and Feed our Rescue

We have been working in the very rural area of Eastern Kentucky for nearly 20 years.  Though we are blessed with beautiful green hills and wonderful people.  

We also deal with the ignorance of the area and the animal care situation.  We live in a state that is rated LAST in Humane Animal Laws.  

Dumas Rescue is an established 501c3 organization.  All donations are tax deductible.

We struggle to help all the needs of this area.  We have NO Animal Shelter in many of the counties we work in.  We are the ONLY rescue that takes horses and farm animals in this region.

Due to this overwelming need we have accumulated high feed and veternarian bills. 

In 2014 we placed over 650 dogs, 300 cats, and 32 horses.  

We also have developed community based charity projects to help children in need.  Dumas Rescue was created to help make this area a better place for everyone.  This is not only an animal related cause, but a community cause.  

Please help us continue to help this region.  We are currently not able to do any rescue work unless the animals come in to rescue fully vetted, and that is nearly NEVER.  We don't want to turn people away. We want to help those that are asking for help.
