Get well meals for Christine Rogers
Donation protected
Many of you know Dr. Christine Rogers who, more than a decade ago, established the Hendrick Hudson HS Science Research Program and has helped students generate superb work which has been recognized nationally and internationally. Christine’s tremendous energy, intellect and sense of humor (not to mention, great French accent!) have kept a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis years ago, from slowing her down. Recently, however, a brain tumor has been found, and on August 10, a team of top cardiovascular and neurosurgeons at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital will operate on Christine. The surgery is challenging but the prognosis is good. It is anticipated that she will be in the hospital for 3-5 days but then will be recuperating at home for 2 to 8 weeks.
Some of us are planning to provide Christine with meals for her first week home and would like to invite you to participate if you are interested. It is expected that the cost of the meals will be approximately $500. If you would like to contribute, continue by clicking on VIEW CAMPAIGN.
