Getting Shaun into PA school

My story...is a long one, but I will give you the Reader’s Digest version!  My name is Shaun Myers and I am currently a Captain Fire/medic with a fire department that services a popular tourist destination, as well as an adjunct instructor at my local state college in the EMS and firefighter certification programs.  I have been a career firefighter for 23 years and it is time for me to move on.  My love for taking care of others is primary in my life, but I must move on to a different path to accomplish that.  I suffer from severe PTSD related to childhood sexual abuse and complicated by my current profession.  The job has been made even more difficult since the loss of my father, Deputy William Myers, in the line of duty.  My father and I worked calls together for 20 years before his murder, and the job is not the same without him.  I can still function in every aspect of my life thanks to one thing, significant therapy.  My goal is to move on and become a therapist in mental health.  I have worked towards, and now been offered, a seat in a physician assistant program that is a clear path to my goal.  I will be able to help others and do so from a place of understanding and compassion since I have suffered much myself.  My goal is to utilize student loans for my tuition, but they will not cover all of the costs that I have.  I am reducing all of my possessions to the bare minimum and cutting all expenses possible, but still find myself short.  I am asking for any help that you can provide to assist me with creating this clear path to begin PA school in May of this year.  Any help is appreciated, whether it be through donation, sharing this campaign, or prayers and positive thoughts!  Thank you for taking the time to read this!
