Getting josh to the 2020 u18 boys softball worlds

My name is Michelle and I am writing to ask you for your  support for our son Joshua. He is the first softball player from the Ipswich Softball Association to be selected into the 2020 U18 Men’s Australian Team.There is only 7 players selected in whole of QLD  which is a massive achievement. The team will travel to New Zealand for the 2020 WBSC U18 Men’s Softball World Cup.



In order for our son to represent our country it will cost over $8,800 for each player. And with the support of the community you would be supporting the first player in Ipswich to do so. We have 6 weeks to gather the funds together for Joshua to compete and we are not in a financial position to do this on our own. Like they say it takes a Community to raise a child, well this is where we really need your support. 




The total of the costs of our sons players levy will cover the following for Joshua;

·       Flights and baggage 

·       Training Camp in Brisbane 

·       Accommodation

·       Meals

·       Ground transport

·       Uniforms 

·       Bags (Easton equipment bag and batpack)

·       Physiotherapy services (including medical kit supplies) whilst on tour (Softball Australia will appoint a physiotherapist to travel with the team)

·       World Cup team entry fees
