Help Zac and Doug get to the Touch World Cup!

Hi, our names are Doug Mackie and Zac Genrich and we have had the honor of being selected to referee the Touch World Cup in Nottingham, England in July of 2024. We have been touch football referees for a combined 25 years and this selection represents a culmination of many years of commitment and dedication to the sport. We are both particularly passionate about touch football and give significant time to referee at junior and social level to support our club and the sport.

As Touch Football is not a professional sport, referees do not receive any payment or funding to attend the World Cup and have to pay for many costs including event levies, flights, uniforms and more which makes the event quite expensive to attend. We are aiming to raise money to help cover the cost of our event levies and flights to ease the financial burden associated with achieving a lifelong goal of refereeing at the World Cup.

We are quite happy to share any fundraising that comes through, but if you would like to donate to either one of us directly, then please let us know and we will allocate appropriately.
