Get us to BCA!

Hi everyone! 

Let me firstly introduce you to my team. We are Portsmouth Phoenix, the cheerleading team from the University of Portsmouth. Our big family consists of 5 teams and over 120 current members. 

Within those 5 teams we have 4 competitive teams who I would love to take to competition. Unfortunately this year we have struggled with money and at the moment it's looking like we won't be able to attend one of the biggest National competitions, BCA. 


I would hate to see all the hard work that myself and the girls have put into our routines go to waste. With some of us training four times a week, we put our heart and soul into this sport and I would love to be able to give them the chance to show that off. 

We do a lot of fundraising throughout the year however, this has largely been for charitable causes. We've worked recently with charities such as Stonewall and Link to help raise money, as well as raising money for breast cancer awareness, and we're also hosting a Phoenix ball in March for a lovely charity called Mind. Given that our competition is so soon, we felt that a go fund me page would help us reach our target in time for competition and means we can still prioritise are fundraising for charity.


Any donation, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will help us on our journey to BCA!
