Hey friends! We are raising money to get an American hero to the NFC Championship game between the Eagles and the Vikings this Sunday (so soon!).
Chris Serle was a Navy SEAL on team 2 on his first deployment, when the worst thing imaginable happened. Chris’s best friend who was walking next to him stepped on an improvised explosive device (IED) and lost both of his legs- and Chris lost the vision in one of his eyes. Both men were unable to continue their service in the military, and are now medically retired with Purple Hearts. Chris continued on with his education in order to continue helping people, and was just accepted into Eastern Virginia Medical School to start their program this summer to become a doctor.
We are hoping to get Chris and his beautiful wife to the Eagles playoff game this weekend! He tried to buy tickets- which sold out almost immediately upon going on sale, and then skyrocketed on the secondhand market. With their baby and medical school bills to pay, he doesn’t see it as financially responsible to pay this much for tickets! But he is a DIE HARD Eagles fan- so we will get him there!!
Here’s the deal: we are raising the money just for Chris and his wife’s tickets and ticket fees. Anything extra will go to the Navy SEAL Foundation (https://www.navysealfoundation.org) and if the Eagles or the Vikings respond and give them tickets, all of the money will go straight to the charity as well. Please help us get him to the game!!! Thank you all in advance!
Chris is a very close friend of mine. He is now the beneficiary to this campaign! Once he purchases his tickets, the rest of the funds raised will go straight to the Navy SEAL Foundation.
