Introducing Team Icicles Senior, a synchronized skating team from Nottingham's National Ice Centre. The team is comprised of 18 talented female skaters who have gone on to achieve greatness this season, proven by their forthcoming selection at Team Great Britian at the 2024 ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships in Croatia on April 5th & 6th.
Synchronized skating demands grace, skill, and precision as teams execute intricate formations and sequences on ice. An athletic blend of figure skating and ice dance. With a strong track record of international representation, we've proudly showcased Nottingham's talent on multiple global stages, including recent competitions in Austria, Czech Republic, and the USA. The World Championships are a heavily populated spectacle in the world of synchronized skating, with the 2019 Championships hosting 8,000 spectators in a sold-out arena amd in 2022 123k viewers tuned in on-line to watch!
