Get Mostly Kosher to Ashkenaz!

Hello, friends of Vox Box Arts Collective and Mostly Kosher! Here's the deal: Mostly Kosher has been invited to perform at Ashkenaz Music Festival in Toronto, one of the biggest Jewish Cultural Festivals on the planet!! Our peers and colleagues in the klezmer community, along with the illustrious Ashkenaz Artistic Director Eric Stein, come together every two years to curate “klezmer greats." This renowned festival attracts a multicultural audience of over 60,000 people from nations across the world. To be invited to perform at this historic festival is not only an incredibly large international platform for our Los Angeles-based band, it is much more than that: it is a milestone recognition of our dedication and work to further the music of our heritage.  These are the reasons why we are utterly ferklempt and excited to make this happen. 

Band pay, hotel stays, per diems, are covered - we just need to raise funds for airfare to get our large ensemble to the fest! Costs will be close to $7,500 for the airfare altogether. We are asking for a partial support of $5000 but if you want to help us raise more, we’d be so grateful. 

Performing at Ashkenaz has been a goal since the band's first album release in 2014 and we don’t want to miss this chance to go international and get to Toronto for this landmark opportunity! 

All donations are tax-deductible through our umbrella organization, Vox Box Arts Collective. My birthday is July 1st, my band partner Leeav’s is June 15th, EVEN our band manager Alexx has hers July 6th… so getting our band to Ashkenaz would be an incredible birthday gift you could participate in!!
