Anyone who knows Miles (Mindofmoto) is likely familiar with his work. He is an incredible photographer and videographer that has dedicated most of his life to capturing special moments for others.

This past Monday after ADE, while we were loading all of his luggage and personal belongings onto an uber from the Eurostar, his main camera bag was stolen from the trunk before taking off from London King’s Cross Station. The thief was not caught or identified and despite two Police cases (British Transport Police and Metropolitan City Police) and an Uber case, all three were dismissed and all forms of tracking any item were dismantled. The contents of the camera bag was valued at over $40,000. His personal laptop, all of his camera bodies, camera lenses, batteries, film, chargers, media accessories, and various personal heirlooms that are irreplaceable. Most devastatingly, the Laptop contained over 6 years of presets, music, and other intangible forms of assets and files that are not backed up and are totally lost despite efforts to recover.

Photography and Videography are not only a lifelong passion of Miles’, but they are his main source of income. On top of various debts and loans accrued this year, this loss has put him in a very tough spot both professionally, financially, and personally.

The funds raised here will go directly toward helping Miles replace the bare essentials to get back to doing what he does best—capturing forever memories for others. All and any help will make a huge difference in helping him recover from this major setback and continue his journey behind the lens.
