Get mats for the new full-time Dojo

Once upon a time in September 2022, in the town of Peterborough, UK, a lone martial arts enthusiast, Sensei Gabi (Gabija Kalinauskaite), embarked on a bold quest. With unwavering determination, she opened a modest club, called HAITO Karate, in the vibrant neighbourhoods of Hampton and Bretton in Peterborough, igniting a spark that would soon grow into a blazing flame of passion and dedication.

Over this short time, the HAITO Karate underwent several transformations, each one guided by her unwavering commitment to the martial arts community. Embracing the powerful ethos of Kyokushin Karate, with its roots in discipline, strength, and self-defence, Sensei Gabi infused her teachings with a potent blend of tradition and innovation.

As the club flourished and the ranks of her students swelled, Sensei Gabi faced a new challenge: the limitations of space and resources. Limited training space, hourly rentals and soaring rent prices stifled the club's potential, prompting Sensei Gabi to seek out a new home—a sanctuary where her vision could truly take root.

In the heart of Woodston, she found her answer—a spacious, yet untamed building brimming with promise. With the support of her dedicated community, Sensei Gabi embarked on a journey to transform this space into a full-time Dojo, a haven where Kyokushin Karate could flourish and thrive.

However, there's one crucial element missing: mats. Without proper flooring, the Dojo remains a dream deferred—a beacon of potential awaiting realization. Recognizing this challenge, Sensei Gabi turns to her community for help. While the club members and their parents are eager to lend a hand in improving the space greatly, the floor presents another difficult matter. It's a task that requires specialized materials and expertise beyond their means.

As students eagerly await the unveiling of the new Dojo, Sensei Gabi's message rings clear: "We need your help to make this dream a reality. With your support, we can lay the foundation for a thriving martial arts community where students can train, grow, and flourish for years to come."

I, Sensei Gabi, ask for your help, however small or big it can be - everything helps!
