Meet little Genie,
A very poorly little lady who joined the Flori Family June 18th. Genie came into our care extremely malnourished and with a bad infection in her mouth.
We are needing to raise £2000 towards Genies care. So far she has had blood test and an ultrasound (totalling £444 - see bill photo in galley) - the scan has found she has an obstruction in her intestines - explorative surgery is needed for this. It also showed that her intestinal lining is thin so a piece of this will need to be biopsied. - the surgery and biopsy will cost in the region of £1500 this is without recovery costs and food and medication etc.
She also needs her back to molars removed as they are causing infection - this will be in the region of £400.
The rescue currently has a high volume of very sick and inured animals all which also need surgery so being able to fundraise Genie's bill will enable us to get the others the help they need as well as getting Genie back on her feet.
This girl is currently in residential care receiving hourly care to ensure she stays at a stable weight to survive anaesthetic. She is going through 9 specialist pouches of food a day as well as pain relief and heated accessories to keep her body temperature up.
Genie really is in poor shape so its vital we get her better. If you would like to help Genie please donate and share this fundraiser. We really need you!
