Get Karabo back to Costa Rica!

Hello, my name is Karabo and I’m a 19 year old from Botswana. I recently finished my first year of the IB programme at United World College Costa Rica - a year which has been an eye-opening experience for both myself and my family. I've been fortunate enough to receive a scholarship from the college to cover my tuition and living expenses, but, understandably enough, this does not cover the $2500 flights.
My family and I worked really hard to get me to Costa Rica for my first year, and I have already felt the benefits of this through an improved education and the most incredible, diverse, long-lasting friendships.
I sincerely wish to be able to go back to Costa Rica to complete my second year, where I will work hard to complete the IB - opening many new doorways and opportunities for myself.As my family and I can't cover the whole cost of the plane ticket ourselves, I am reaching out to the global community to help me continue my journey. I will need all the aid I could recieve, I will need your help.
I truly believe that returning to Costa Rica will positively impact myself, my family, and, very importantly, my community. I am fortunate enough for even getting a place in this college to begin with, so I can't thank you enough for your time, donations, and effort to help me achieve this dream.

Note - Karabo couldn't actually set up a gofundme account himself in Botswana, so, while all of the lovely words above were written by him, this page was made by his British co-year Jaz with the kind help of his second year Varsha. Karabo arrived 2 months late to college last year due to visa issues and it was initially a horrible experience for him as he'd missed out on so much, so we're trying to raise this money as quickly as possible to avoid that happening again and ensure that he gets to make the most of his time at UWC.
