Get Jimmy home and around-the-clock in-home care.

As many of you may already be aware, Jim and Sarah are in Houston at MD Anderson after Jim’s symptoms took an unfortunate turn while they were there checking out treatment facilities. Jim is ready to go back home to California, as being away from home is only going to add to the stress of the situation over time. The catch is, things are pretty touch and go for him at the moment and this necessitates medical transport, which comes with an out-of-pocket expense. Once he returns home safely he will need around-the-clock care which is another out-of-pocket expense. And this is where the fundraiser enters the chat.

After handling this severe diagnosis with the utmost grace and SISU over the last four years this is a tough spot that our good old pal is in, and he just plain wants to go back to his familiar comforts. The staff at the hospital have been wonderful to Jim and Sarah, but when stuff gets real, there’s no place like home. Jim isn’t able to get out of bed right now, and so there is no other option to get him where he needs to be than to pay for the medical flight.
